IVANPLATS (Pty) Ltd, a subsidiary of Ivanhoe Mines, is advancing the development of its world-class palladium-rhodium-nickel-copper-gold project in the Limpopo Province near Mokopane. This unique mineral deposit will be exploited using large mechanised state-of-the-art underground mining methods, deploying the latest technology to develop this “mine of the future”. Suitably qualified and experienced candidates are invited to apply for the following vacancies required for the project development.
Stores Assistant (Stores Clerk Surface) X3 REF: UMS-2523
This role is responsible to assist with the ordering and receipt of goods, as well as the verification against official orders.
Requirements:
· Grade 12.
· At least 2 years’ experience in an administration-related role, which included duties relating to stock/materials handling.
· Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, as well as in financial systems
· Fluency in English.
· Experience in a mining, contracting or construction environment will be an advantage.
· Experience working with the Buildsmart Enterprise Management system (Procurement module) will be an advantage.
· Candidates must be willing to work shifts.
· Candidates must be medically fit – all will be required to pass a medical examination.
